Learn about how Tri-City Baptist Missions was started.
How It All Started
Tri-City Baptist Missions is a missions agency promoted and operated by Tri-City Baptist Church. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the church was very involved in both evangelistic and missionary endeavors, and by the early 2000s a number of missionary families were being serviced by the missions agency.
As the responsibilities of the missions agency expanded, it became clear that Tri-City Baptist Missions should operate financially independent from the church. To this end, in 2011, Tri-City Baptist Missions was registered with the Secretary of State’s office. In 2019, Tri-City Baptist Church amended its Bylaws to allow for a board to oversee Tri-City Baptist Missions. The process of establishing this board is currently being implemented.
